Ali Gayward Director
Ali has more than twenty-five-years' experience in the travel industry working with British Airways, American Express Travel, Sabre, American Airlines, ASM and now AG Consultancy. Ali has experience in training, as American Express Travel's UK Technology Trainer, and at Sabre, where she was responsible for training Sabre subscribers throughout Europe, and also at Airport Strategy and Marketing (ASM) Ltd, where she trained business development managers from airports globally. During Ali's 19 years with American Airlines, she held a number of Sales management roles, latterly as Head of Sales Development, UK and Ireland, where she was responsible for all UK and Ireland travel agency sales and corporate accounts whose individual annual revenue was valued up to $1 million. Ali was also responsible for American Airlines' UK and Ireland travel agency commission budget. In this role she managed American Airlines Account Managers based throughout the UK and Ireland. In addition to her sales role, Ali also spent almost two years assigned to a head office team evaluating new route opportunities throughout Europe and Latin America for American Airlines. Ali has also worked with ASM. She initially joined ASM as Strategic Route Delivery Director, where her role was to lead the sales campaigns of ASM's Airport clients globally in securing their most important strategic new route targets, in markets as diverse as Malaysia, South Africa, Switzerland, Croatia and the UK. Ali then became Airline Relations Director, responsible for managing ASM's relationships and strategic understanding of airlines and tour operators globally. Ali was also responsible for managing ASM's airline relations team based in its offices globally. Ali also held the role of ASM's Sales Director, responsible for all sales across all areas of ASM's capabilities, and for managing group client relationships with ASM's sister companies, Routes and Routesonline.com. Ali now continues her role within aviation as a consultant, offering support to airlines and airports in developing and delivering sales campaigns, market evaluation and training.
